The grace of God

The grace of God is the gift of Jesus Christ son of God.

Jesus came to earth to announce grace, read in the Gospel of Luke.

So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.
And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.
Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him.
And He began to say to them, Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.

Luke 4:16-21

What is grace?

Grace is the love of God manifested towards us through Jesus Christ.

Jesus left his throne of glory in order to come to earth for a time among us.

Jesus came to earth by love for us, God loves us and He showed His love for us in the person of Jesus.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17

We did not deserve this love, this gift of God, the grace of God is the manifestation of the love of God.

Why the grace?

The grace is the means God has chosen for us to be saved.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God

Ephesians 2:8

Do we need grace?

Yes, we all need to accept the grace of God in our lives, Jesus gave His life so that we might receive forgiveness of our sins.

Our sins are forgiven by the sacrifice of Jesus, but we must believe and accept this forgiveness, this grace, this wonderful gift of God.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Romans 3:23-26

How to accept grace?

Accepting the grace of God means opening your heart to Jesus, believing in Jesus, accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour.
