Jesus the Just

Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord,
That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness;
A King shall reign and prosper,
And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.

Jeremiah 23:5

Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One

Acts 7:52

Jesus is the Just One.
Jesus is the only one who has never sinned, he has come to fulfill the righteousness of God, he has come to give his life for us.

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit

1 Peter 3:18

We are justified by Jesus because Jesus died for our sins and He rose again for our justification.

It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.

Romains 4:24-25

Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you;
And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
Blessed are all those who wait for Him.

Isaiah 30:8

God loves us, He did not bear that His creation be removed from Him, therefore He sent His Son Jesus.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17

The Christian lives by faith in Jesus Christ.

Now the just shall live by faith

Prayer is the strength of the Christian.

What God wants is to justify us by the death of his Son Jesus, for that we must accept the forgiveness of our sins.

The Lord is righteous in all His ways, gracious in all His works.
