Jesus the Rock

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Psalm 18:2

In this Psalm we see the hope and support that we can have in God.
God is our rock, He is our strength, when we are weak we can lean on Him.

A rock is strong, we can build on it, the rock does not shake.

and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.

1 Corinthians 10:4

Jesus is the rock of life, we can count on him, we will not be disappointed, we can base our life on him, base his life on the rock and not on the sand.

Help comes from God, he is our hope, he is near us, Jesus is risen, he is alive.

We can trust our lives to God.

Trust in the Lord forever,
For in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength

Isaiah 26:4

God is a rock of grace and mercy, he wills to save us by his Son Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the cornerstone, he is the foundation of the church, he saves us from death.
He has paid the price of our sins on the cross, he is the first risen from the dead, he has thus opened the way to eternal life.

If we are tired of the problems and worries of life, we can rest on the solid rock that is Jesus.

The Lord lives!
Blessed be my Rock!
Let God be exalted,
The Rock of my salvation!

2 Samuel 22:47

Let us accept Jesus as the rock of our life.
