Jesus the Saviour

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

1 John 4:14

In this passage we are talking about the coming of Jesus on earth as Saviour of the world.

Why Jesus is the savior, he did not deliver the Jews from the hand of the Romans?

Jesus did much more than that, by dying on the cross he opened the doors of freedom to anyone who believes in him. Jesus came to save us from perdition, from death.

Jesus is the only one who has the power to save, because he conquered death by raising the third day.

What is being saved ?
To be saved is to have accepted and believed in Jesus Christ, we become a new creation, our way of thinking changes by the effect of the Holy Spirit.

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Acts 4:12

The salvation of Jesus Christ is to be saved, Jesus is the salvation of humanity, he is who reconciles us with God through the work of the cross.

What prevented us from being saved was what had taken us away from God, it is our sins, but Jesus, dying on the cross, took our sins, died in our place.

In Jesus we have everything we need, he allows us to find the presence of God, he opens the doors of heaven.

Do not deprive us of the Salvation that Jesus wants to offer us, free and by love to each one of us.
