Jesus the second Adam

And so it is written, The first man Adam became a living being.
The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.
The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.

1 Corinthians 15:45-47

God had entrusted the earth and what is there to Adam and Eve (Genesis 1:28), they were free and they should not know death, for they ate of the fruit of the tree of life, but they have sinned by disobeying the only one commandment God had given them and from that moment Adam and Eve lost their communion with God and they became mortal (Genesis 3:19).

Because we are the descendants of Adam and Eve we have inherited this mortal and sinful nature.

Jesus came to restore all things, he came to repair the fault of humanity, he came to recover the keys of the abode of the dead, he overcame death by his sacrifice to the cross, he reconciled us to God.

Today nothing can separate us from the love of God,

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39

Let us take advantage of this grace which is offered to us, do not deprive us of it, for Jesus opened the heavens to us, Jesus is risen.

whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.
Acts 2:24

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
Romans 5:19

Adam sinned, he did not succeed in his mission, but Jesus did not sin, he did all the will of God, he obediently fulfilled his mission.
Jesus has expiated our sins.
But we have the choice, either to continue to be under the condemnation of the sin transmitted by Adam, or to be for the benefit of grace, to receive the forgiveness of our sins.
We need accept Jesus Christ in our lives, as our personal Lord and Savior.

Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more

Romans 5:20
