Jesus the Son of God

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For to which of the angels did He ever say: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”? And again: “I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”?

Hebrews 1:1-5

Jesus is the Son of God, He is the Savior whom God had promised, Jesus came to reconcile the creation with His Creator.
God Himself testified of Jesus when Jesus was baptized,

And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Matthew 3:17

The angel Gabriel announced to Mary the birth of Jesus,

And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.

Luke 1:31-33

Men also testified about Jesus,

Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, Truly You are the Son of God.

Matthew 14:33

Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Matthew 16:16

Jesus left the glory of heaven to come to live among us on earth, Jesus was God in a human body, He suffered, He was hungry, He was tempted, He understands us perfectly.
Jesus obeyed the Father, did the will of God, fulfilled his mission perfectly, was obedient unto death and that is why God sovereignly exalted him.

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:9-11

We must also fulfill the will of God, the will of God is that all humanity be saved, we must witness, share the gospel, we must evangelize and so we will return with joy in the presence of God,

Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.

Matthew 25:21

Jesus revealed to us the heart of God, He made us know God,

No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

John 1:18

Jesus showed us the love of God for us,

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, “God with us.”

Matthew 1:23

Jesus is with us every day, he leads the church,

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus opened the heavens to us, opened the way of salvation,

And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

John 1:51

Jesus is the only one who saves, believe in him, he is the Son of God.

but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
