Jesus the Bright and Morning Star

I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.

Revelation 22:16

Jesus is the light that shines in darkness, He who shows us the way to follow in this disordered world, it is like the bright star of the morning, it is full of strength, majestic and great.

I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand;
I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the Gentiles,
To open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house.

Isaiah 42:6-7

Jesus is the light of the nations, he came to earth to make a new covenant by his blood with men, dying to the cross in our place, Jesus came to offer salvation to anyone who accepts him as his Lord and Saviour.

Jesus is our guide, our rock, on this earth, He is the way forward.

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 14:6

For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
And so we have the prophetic word confirmed,[a] which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;

2 Peter 1:17-19

Jesus wants to live in our hearts, he is so great and majestic.

This is possible through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, by dying on the cross Jesus showed us his immense love for us, his earnest desire to save us, and reconciled us to God the Father.

The desire of God is that all men can live in harmony of heart with him, that is why Jesus still wants to fill our lives with love and live in our hearts.

Open the door of our heart to him.

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord!
Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;
Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
For the Lord is the great God,
And the great King above all gods.
In His hand are the deep places of the earth;
The heights of the hills are His also.
The sea is His, for He made it;
And His hands formed the dry land.
Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.
For He is our God,
And we are the people of His pasture,
And the sheep of His hand.
